Wishes and Dreams...

Hello friends....

Below is the detailed wish list for our adopt a family.  Where there is detail, it is because I went back and asked the mom to be specific.  Please know that she is grateful for even used items that fit the need...and if they aren't the right color, etc...she is still grateful to have them.  The specifics were to help us know how to shop if we were purchasing the item new.   (Please make sure that if an item is used, it is gently used...and all of the necessary pieces are present in order for it to still be useful, etc.)

Also, if the item has been crossed off, it is because that need has already been met, so praise Jesus!

PERSONAL WISHES FOR MOM:

*Digital Camera (Her camera broke..any used camera with good focus would be awesome!)

*Beautiful or Pleasures by Estee Lauder Body Lotion, not the perfume

*Antiviral program for computer

*Photo Editing Program

*Large Black Frames w White Matting to frame 5x7s /8x10s

*Stairstep Machine (used that someone doesn't want anymore?)
  (Anything but an excercise bike...can't use that.)

*Candles-black, grey, bronze, silver (Three inch pillars are what she has holders for, and four skinny taper candles she has holders for)

*Button up sweaters size Large (1) (Could use one more)

*Flip flops size 7  (3)
*LOVES fashion scarves (Target has a ton of them)  (2)

*Photo Albums (4x6…just for slipping photos in…not scrapbooks) (2)

KITCHEN SUPPLIES

*Spatulas and Scrapers

*Mixing Bowls (Glass or stainless)


*5 gallon water cooler/stand

*Stainless steel measuring spoons and cups 



*Electric Hand Mixer

*Ceramic soup/salad/cereal Bowls and dinner plates (Prefer black/white) (SET GIVEN)

*Pots/Pans (DEL)

*Silverware (DEL)

BATH/BED LINEN NEEDS:

*Black Bathroom Towels (Bath size)

*Twin Sheet Set..blue

*Long, shallow storage containers that would fit under beds

*White towels for everyday use (DEL)

*washcloths

*Queen Sheet Sets-turquoise, blue (DEL)

OTHER HOUSEHOLD NEEDS/WANTS:

*Floor lamps (one given, could use one more)

*Large dry erase board/or half dry erase half tack board for schooling.

*Any old couch  throw pillows people want to get rid of.  She has material to cover them.

13 YR OLD DAUGHTER:

*Modeling Clay

*Shoes…she likes converse…size:  9.5 – 10, boots is a size 10.

*Scrapbooking Scissors (to cut different edges)

*Underwear %100 cotton size 5-7 (Ladies size)

*Colored Pens and Markers and Pencils

*Clothes sizes:  Shirts:  Ladies small, juniors medium…pants size 2.  (Gift receipts for new clothing if possible…in case they don’t fit.)

Ipod to download music/tunes  (Not picky…any ipod to listen to music)

11 YR OLD SON:

*Remote Control Car  (Any size/style)

*Pogo Stick (I saw these at Big Lots for $20.00!)

*Legos small size Blocks (Building pieces)

(In case some are wondering...the Wii was given to the kids by their dad in a previous year...it is not something the mom could afford nor could she sell it to supply needs...since it could have created a problem with the dad.)

**When I asked, she said she doesn’t eat out ever…but below are the few places that she said would be a treat for her and her kids:

* Movie tickets would be a real treat too.

* Gift certificate to educational supply store…for schooling needs.


(Remember to keep your eyes peeled for coupons for any of the places we can shop for items on the wish list.  Sometimes God provides little things like that to help us stretch our dollars!)
