The last of the fundraisers...you don't want to miss this! ;)

Happy December!

Tis the Season for Baking...and cutout sugar cookies, and more! ;)

I am excited to celebrate our adopted family by doing one last fundraiser...the world's best (in my opinion) Sugar Cookie Dough!!!

I can say that because it is not my recipe...it was given to me, and I tweaked it just a tad, and is now a part of my "secret" recipes that I use in Sweet Heaven Desserts!

The delightful thing about this cookie dough, is the flavor.  It is really good.  I can't tell you what goes into it, but I promise, it is only good things!  Fresh butter, real extracts...not artificial flavorings, etc.

You will be able to purchase a huge batch of my favorite sugar cookie dough for only $15.00.  (It will easily make 50 medium to large size cookies...obviously depending on the size of the cutter.) I will gladly do a half batch for you for $10.00 if you are baking less.

Every penny over my cost will go to the adopted family fun, to buy the last minute things we might need to add to the list.  A gas card, a grocery store card, etc.

To order, simply email me at spankos1@juno.com or call me if you have that information!  Leave a comment here if you are needing help with anything...and I will get back to you!

I will make the dough specifically for you when you are ready to use it.  It will be made to order, not sitting around...it actually bakes better that way!

I will also be happy to roll and cut or even bake your cutouts for you this year...for you to decorate yourself.  Let me know and I will make it as easy as possible for you to have all of the fun and none of the mess! :)

You may order any time between now and December 20th.  I truly hope all of my loyal friends and supporters of this cause have the very best Holiday ever...knowing that we all gave Christmas away this year!

God Bless!
Becky

PS - Your dough will be wrapped simply in ziplocs, cute packaging would have just cut into our money for the family! :)  Thanks for understanding!   (If you'd like to give "dough" as a gift, we can figure out really great packaging if need be!)

Pie Sales!! Thank you all for your support!

Hello sweet people!  Did you survive Turkey Day?  Black Friday sales?

This is just an update for those of you that are interested in knowing how the pie sale went....I am happy to report that I think it went fabulously...I hope the pies were a blessing to the customers...because the fundraiser was definitely a blessing to the family!  There were a total of 15 pies sold!  After supply and packaging costs, that amounted to another $90.00 for the fund!  :)  But wait...you guys were so generous, that on top of the $12.00 minimum donation, many of you gave more...so guess what...add another $31.00 to that total...and we made $121.00 for the fabulous family! ;)

I am so blessed by all of you and so privileged to be a part of what God is doing for this family. Thanks again for your support...only one more fundraiser to go...so hang in there! ;) LOL

(In case any of you didn't know, the raffle that we held generated $440.00 of cash to shop for the family...after the grand prize and runner up prizes were deducted.  So combined with the pie sales...we have approximately $561.00 to spend on our adopted family!  That is so exciting!  We will be looking forward to purchasing grocery store gift cards, a gas gift card, and a few more items off of the wish list.  Direct items are also still being donated...so our dollars are being stretched and God is good!)

(Candy Bar sales are also still in process...I will keep you posted when those sales are completed...and look for information later this weekend on the Worlds Best Sugar Cookie Dough fundraiser!)

:)  Happy Holiday weekend.  I hope you are enjoying your time with your family and are recovering from your turkey coma!

Blessings,
Becky and the Gang

A giant congratulations to raffle winner, Patti Joseph.  What a blessing for her family!  Also, congratulations to biggest ticket sellers Michelle Soto and Dani Wiley.

In fact, next year, you all might want to buy tickets from Dani Wiley.  She sold the winning raffle ticket as well as having several of her tickets drawn for runner up prizes.  (Of course, only those present could win those.)

The runner-up winners were:

$15.00 Gift Card to AMC, Stephanie Bradley.  (Dani Wiley, ticket)
$15.00 Gift Card to Starbucks, Autumn Davenport.  (self)
$15.00 Gift Card to AMC, Colbie.  (Autumn Davenport, ticket)
$15.00 Gift Card to Subway, Ian Spanko.  (self)

I am beyond grateful to all of you who bought tickets for this raffle and shared in the vision.  It was not only a pleasure to organize it, but a privilege to be trusted by so many of you.

I love you guys.  Thanks for your prayers, your contributions, and your friendships!

Sincerely,
Becky Spanko

PS - I wish I had 100 more prizes to give out!  Bummed it's over! :)

Updated Wish List...

Please note the changes to the Wishes and Dreams post below...there have been many donations of used and new items to fill various needs.  There are still a few needs and several "gift" items that are on the list.  Please review it before making purchases.  Donations of any items you think might bless this family are always welcome.  Thanks so much!

An item I know is needed but didn't ever add to the list is a gift card for gas.  QT card, etc.  (Fry's has several gas locations too.)

That is one area where the money doesn't go very far, and because of their distance from church and friends, etc...they don't make many car trips.  I would definitely love to know that there was gas in the tank in case they wanted to attend Holiday church services at Calvary! ;)

God Bless!
Becky

Welcome!

Welcome to our blog!  This blog was and is created with the purpose of sharing our project with those of you who have helped us support it as well as providing a means of communication between the bunco babes who are "giving Christmas" to a family in need.

We hope that God will be glorified here and in all we do and ask for your prayer and support as we seek to do His will by truly being the hands and feet to show love and meet needs.

Again, thank you to those of you who are reading this and partnering with us!  We ask that Jesus truly show us that it is more blessed to give than to receive and that He would make a way for us to share that with the watching world.  (For some of us, the "watchers" are simply the people who live in our homes each day and are watching every move we make!)

Blessings!
